University Shield: Based on the Trisakti University statutes in year 1965, the University logo is a TRISULA (the trident-a weapon in Indonesian traditional mythology)in black color which is symbolic of the TRIDARMA (the triad functions) of Indonesian higher education institutions covering education, research, and services to the community, stands on five roots in black color which symbolizing the PANCASILA, the five basic state philosophy principles (from: catalog 2004-2006 trisakti university)
